All components used on Kathabar Liquid Desiccant systems are fabricated using non-metallics to ensure long equipment life and reliability. Below is a list of components included in the “Conditioner” & “Regenerator”:
Body/Housing
Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) with additives to achieve U.L. class 1 flame spread rating and is UV stabilized for exposure to direct sunlight.
Pump Tank
Housing: Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) with additives to achieve U.L. class 1 flame spread rating and is UV stabilized for exposure to direct sunlight.
Kathene Spray Pump
Standard Systems: Vertical Sealless Pump
Titanium shaft and hardware with all other wetted parts of Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (FRP)
Packaged Systems: Sealless magnetic-drive
Wetted parts made of glass-filled PVDF or polypropylene
